Chapter 01 — 03

One roof.
One team.
One vision,
from brief to delivery.

Strategy, production, and post — three in-house chapters handled by a single dedicated producer. The way a campaign should be made: under one roof, on one schedule, with one creative vision that survives every hand-off.

Index

Three chapters.
One producer.
Four weeks.

Every engagement at Duran Productions follows the same three-chapter pipeline. Read it like a treatment deck — each chapter builds on the last, and a single producer carries your project through all three without trading your brief to a freelancer.

  1. 01

    Strategy

A written creative direction before the first shoot day. Narrative arc, shot list, and distribution plan, signed off in week one.

  2. 02

    Production

In-house directors, cinematographers, and a 6,000 sq ft Brooklyn soundstage. Owned RED and Sony Venice 2 packages, zero rental markups.

  3. 03

    Post

Edit, color, motion, and sound design finished under the same roof by senior editors and motion designers — no version drift on delivery.

Chapter 01

Strategy that arrives in writing.

Every project begins with a strategy phase, not a rushed creative call. Week one ends with a written creative direction your team can actually mark up — the document that keeps production and post honest for the rest of the engagement.

  • Creative brief Position, audience, and the single sentence the spot must earn.
  • Narrative arc Hook, beat structure, and the emotional arc across the cut.
  • Shot list & treatment Scenes, lenses, lighting references, and reference frames.
  • Distribution plan Channel-by-channel cutdowns and aspect ratios, planned before camera rolls.

Owned by a senior strategy lead with 17 years of brand work — not a junior account coordinator.

Chapter 02

A crew that owns the floor, not a rented roster.

Production runs on a fully in-house model. Twelve directors, eight senior editors, and a bilingual EN/ES production team carry every shoot day — no freelancers subbed in at the last minute, no mid-shoot creative translation loss.

12 In-house directors on the roster
0% Shoot days outsourced to freelancers
6,000 Sq ft of owned Brooklyn soundstage
14 Countries with delivered shoots
  • Owned camera packagesRED V-Raptor and Sony Venice 2 in-house — zero rental markups passed to clients.
  • Lighting & gripFull tungsten and LED inventory, dolly and jib rigs, plus a 6,000 sq ft soundstage at 240 Kent Avenue.
  • LocationsPermitted Brooklyn rooftop, warehouse, and brownstone sets — plus a trusted local crew network across 14 countries.

Chapter 03

Post under the same roof, by the same crew.

Edit, color, motion graphics, and sound design are finished in-house by eight senior editors and a motion team that sat in on the shoot. The director's intent survives the cut because the people coloring the footage already framed it.

  1. 03.1

    Picture edit

A senior editor assembles the cut in Avid or Premiere, with a producer review at the rough-cut and fine-cut stages.

  2. 03.2

    Color & finish

Color graded in DaVinci Resolve on calibrated reference monitors in the in-house color suite.

  3. 03.3

    Motion & design

Type, packaging, and end-cards built by the motion design team — no After Effects file bounced to a third party.

  4. 03.4

    Sound & versioning

Sound design, mix, and channel-by-channel cutdowns delivered as broadcast-, web-, and social-ready masters.

Week 04 — Post & delivery

Cadence

Brief to delivery in four weeks.

The standard cadence for campaign spots under 90 seconds. One dedicated producer owns all four weeks — strategy, pre-production, shoot, and edit-and-delivery stay on a single schedule, with a single point of contact on your side.

  1. Week 01

    Discovery & strategy

Discovery call, creative brief, narrative arc, distribution plan. Strategy sign-off at the end of week one.

  2. Week 02

    Pre-production

Director locked, locations scouted, shot list signed, gear staged at the 240 Kent soundstage or on location.

  3. Week 03

    Shoot days

In-house crew on the floor with owned RED and Sony Venice 2 packages. Daily selects cut overnight, shared by morning.

  4. Week 04

    Edit & delivery

Picture lock, color, motion, sound mix, and channel-by-channel masters delivered as broadcast-, web-, and social-ready files.

If four weeks feels fast, it should. It's the cadence a single producer and an in-house crew can hold.
